Small but lovely balcony

Lovely views from balcony. Was anticipating the room to be small, so it wasn’t a surprise, very reasonable price for a overnight stay in catania

A little gem

I stayed in the jacuzzi bedroom which was just perfect. After a long day travelling and walking in the pouring rain it was a treat to use the bath!

Great little apartment

The apartment was really nice, and well decorated. Only problem is it’s on the 4th floor with no lift, but we were made aware of this before arrival. Balcony has great views, and is close to the castle and centre. Only slight downside is we stayed for 7 nights, and the room is a little bit small for that length of time. Perfect for a few nights, but a little small for a week. Otherwise a great stay, host was very helpful and always got back to us in a timely manner. Would recommend to anyone who is in Catania for a few nights.

Lovely spot in a neighborhood ...a couple of blocks from Duomo. Top floor (5 flights) and no elevator. Lovely breakfast ...coffee macine in room. Loved that you could purchase drinks and a variety of wines as well as other gift ideas!

What a little gem this place is! We felt very welcomed and very comfortable. The neighborhood around the B&B is kinda dirty, and the entryway/walkup area also felt a bit run down. However, the actual room area was all totally refurbished and very well put together. It is three rooms in an apartment, with a common kitchen. Each room has its own bathroom and balcony. The balcony is magical, with comfortable seating and a gorgeous view of Mt Etna. We really liked how the B&B offered samplings of local products and craftsmanship, available to purchase. The location is actually pretty good, 10 minutes walking to the areas you want to see, but out of the hustle of the tourist areas. If you can get past the grime of the neighborhood, the location is helpful. Also quick paths to get out of town and we always found free street parking within 1/2 a block of the front door. I would stay here again on a trip to Catania.

True, the B&B may be in an area that some people may call “rough”, but it isn’t that at all. Accommodation is on the 4th floor (top floor) and in the heat it’s a bit of a killer. All doors are pass code protected and are strong! I stayed in room #1, as soon as you enter. Nice sized room, although the bathroom may be a little “tight” for some people. The view from the balcony, WOW! Exactly as it is shown on the website. Sat here every evening and enjoyed some wine as the sun set! There is a kitchen in the apartment, that I think you can use, not sure. Seemed to be muffins left out for people to eat. Breakfast is simple, but very tasty, particularly the chilli and olive cheese! Loved it! Inside the room was a coffee maker and a small fridge, enough to keep your beers cold! WiFi was incredibly fast. Maybe a 10-15 min walk into the center of town, but there are a few restaurants and bars at either end of the road the B&B is located on. Good communication from Gieseppe, the owner! Would highly recommend you stay here, you won’t be disappointed

The shower was not cleaned properly and had hair in it, the water was kind of finicky in the tub. It says that the rooms are sound proof, but they are not. We barely had our tv on 5 and the people next door complained about our tv being too loud. my husband and I just talking in the room was too loud as well. We aren’t loud talkers, someone banged on our door. Wasn’t ideal for people who have jet lag and kids are making noise in the early hours and then people complain about you at night. Overall I would say it’s an ok place to stay, but not the best I have stayed at. Transportation from the air port was convenient, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fairly good.

Je suis extrêmement déçu de mon séjour dans cette chambre à Catane. En entrant, j’ai découvert un cafard dans le lit, ce qui est totalement inacceptable pour un établissement censé accueillir des voyageurs. L’hygiène laisse clairement à désirer et cela a gâché mon expérience. Je déconseille vivement cet endroit à toute personne cherchant un logement propre et fiable en Sicile.

L’emplacement est très bien situé, à 8mn à pied du centre historique et des restaurants, ne pas se fier au bâtiment et au quartier très sale et délabré. Le petit déjeuner compris et plutôt sympa, avec du salé et du sucré. Attention au minibar, sois disant tout est inclus mais en fait non, ne vous faites pas avoir.

Die Unterkunft ist super schön. Mit Liebe eingerichtet und durchdacht. Der Ausblick von der Dachterrasse ist atemberaubend! Die Gegend ist leider sehr dreckig... Aber die Innenstadt ist leicht zu Fuß erreichbar.

appartamento riadattato a b&b con tre camere e una zona angolo cottura con micronde e lavandino a disposizione di tutti. Stanza carina, soprattutto bagno e doccia molto confortevoli. La chicca è il terrazzino che concede uno spazio per rilassarsi fare e la colazione . La colazione consiglio di migliorarla nettamente i prodotti confezionati in una terra come la Sicilia, si potrebbero evitare . Abbiamo apprezzato però la disponibilità del proprietario nell'accoglierci un'ora prima del check in e averci consigliato un bar convenzionato una mattina, in quanto avendo escursione prenotata sull'etna e saremmo dovuti uscire molto presto rispetto all'orario di colazione disponibile nel b&b . Inoltre foto su expedia delle stanze rispecchiano pienamente lo stato dei luoghi .

Con vista ma 4 piani a piedi!

Al 4 piano. Da tenere presente se arrivate con valigie o altro. Appartamento con stanze in affitto. Vasca idromassaggio non usata. Non so quanto ci mette a riempirsi. Detto questo creerebbe umidità nella stanza. Bagno piccolo, no tappetivo. Lavandino da 20 cm e di traverso. Colazione che sembra ottima anche se nn l’abbiamo fatta. Visione sui tetti di Catania che ha il suo fascino e bel balcone. Posizione centrale. Per coppie giovani.

Sur les photos et dans l’annonce, le logement semblait parfait. Mais à notre arrivée, nous avons été déçus par l’état du quartier, sale et délabré. Aucuns parkings publics ou privés n’était disponible, contrairement à ce qui était indiqué. Nous avons dû nous garer dans la rue, dans des zones étroites et peu rassurantes, sans solution de stationnement sécurisé à proximité. Nous avons même vérifié plusieurs fois que la voiture était toujours en place. Le logement était correct dans l’ensemble, et le petit déjeuner proposé était bon. Malheureusement, nous avons été privés d’eau chaude le dernier jour (comme les autres résidents du B&B), et un cafard est apparu dans la salle de bain juste avant notre départ. Le balcon, bien qu’offrant une jolie vue latérale sur l’Etna, était partagé avec les autres résidents et séparé seulement par une petite cloison basse, ce qui limitait l’intimité. Dommage, car le potentiel était là, mais plusieurs éléments n’étaient pas conformes à la description.
