"This could be a fantastic hotel but unfortunately the facilities are very lacking. This hotel doesn’t serve lunch or evening meals as they don’t have a chef yet. As this place is a bit out of the way it wasn’t what we were expecting. We had paid for 2 nights but left after 1. We booked a deluxe room with garden view. Deluxe it definitely was not. The shower cubicle had the previous guest hair on the walls. Not for us and we wouldn’t return. Could be a fabulous place. Hats off to the guy running the place who seems to be the receptionist, cleaner, barman & breakfast cook rolled into 1. "
"Very friendly hotel in Jedburgh, perfect for an overnight stay for travellers like ourselves or longer to explore the area. Friendly welcome and accomoding."
