"Everything about Fairways and Bluewater Hotel was great. Beautiful pool, pristine beach and some of the friendliest staff we've encountered. The rooms are large and comfortable. And the food at the onsite restaurant was delicious. The free shuttle service to D'mall was a great bonus."

"This was a lovely, quiet place to stay on the island with a family with lots of easy amenities. The price for families from the US will feel super cheap even if you eat room service, poolside etc throughout your stay. The spa massages are great and really cheap (like $70 with a tip for a great 90 minute massage so def check it out!) The offsite water sports are very overpriced onsite though so head into town in a tuk tuk and arrange with an agency. "

"We would first like to say that the hotel was very smart, clean and the food in the restaurant was excellent. However unfortunately we felt on many occasions, that male staff would always address me (the male) first, often ignoring or excluding my partner (female, and who booked and paid for this hotel). We feel that training staff to treat all guests as equal is needed. One example is, when we both entered the building, the male staff would often say “hello sir” or “how was your day sir”. Instead, we believe they should have addressed both of us within the same opening conversation. This happened daily and had a negative impact on our stay."
