"I recently stayed at the Hotel Riu Plaza España and had a fantastic experience overall. The location is unbeatable – right in the heart of Madrid, with easy access to public transportation, shops, and major attractions like the Royal Palace and Gran Vía. The hotel is modern, stylish, and very clean in general. My room was spacious and comfortable, with a great view of the city. However, the bathroom shower could have been a bit cleaner, which was a slight downside. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay, always ready to assist with any questions or needs. A special thanks to the team at the front entrance – they were exceptionally welcoming and made a great first impression every day. One of the highlights was definitely the rooftop terrace, absolutely stunning! The views over Madrid are breathtaking, especially at sunset. It’s a fantastic place to enjoy a drink and unwind. That said, the food at the rooftop bar could be improved – it didn’t quite match the quality of the rest of the hotel. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh options, both hot and cold."

"Very close to the renfe! Easy to get there"

"We stayed at the Only You Atocha twice. The location is by Atocha station, El Retiro and the Museums, which was perfect for us. We walked into center city for other attractions. Everyone was lovely. We were frustrated when we wanted dinner and rooftop (which is really lovely) was closed for a special event and a waitress didn’t know what all was available but the manager stepped in and was fantastic. The layout of the place is different. We really liked the hotel."

"This was a hostel type place but with private rooms and bathrooms. I stayed with my elderly mother and my brother and it was safe and convenient to get to sites around town by foot and an easy walk to the train station for our train to Barcelona. We were able to store all our bags and enjoyed the free breakfast! Great place!!"
