Hotels in Central Hamilton

"This hotel offers patients who are having surgery or visiting the hospital discounts on their stay make sure you check in directly with the hotel or ask Expedia to reduce the rate that is posted if you are in fact doing a hospital stay. I am asking that Expedia refund some of our money to reflect that discount "

"his hotel is a dump. The lobby looks sketchy, there is no one at the front desk at night or even early morning. Therefore, you have to call a phone number and hope they answer and buzz you in. My room was dirty; curtains were stained, sheets had holes, there is no reading lamp next to the bed (just a hole in thr wall where the electrical connections were at some point). There is one very small towel in the bathroom. I asked for more towels and nothing happened for hours. Then I went to the front desk, asked for more towel and was given, reluctantly, one more very small towel. There was no shampoo or conditioner, no coffee, and not even plastic cups to drink water. Also, the sign outside says "Free deluxe continental breakfast". Is that a joke? There is no breakfast, or even coffee, at all."

"I was a little disappointed they didn’t have the warm cinnamon buns, they had I think litttle apple strudels but I love staying at holiday inn for the cinnamon buns, the coffee was Luke warm but otherwise the hotel was nice, the staff was friendly"

"The hotel and room were all very nice. The breakfast was very good. However, we were there when an entire travel hockey team of middle school kids were there for the night. The kids were completely unsupervised while they were in the hote swimming pool and hot tub. The hot tub said no more than 5 people at a time and there was 15 of them in there. The kids were throwing furniture into the pool. The parents were in the next room not even aware of what was happening. One kid about 15 years old was choking on water he swallowed and was spitting it all over the pool. Was really gross. We complained to the staff at the hotel but there was not much they could do. "

"Property was fine but service was lacking. No effort to service the room daily as only the towels were refreshed and garbage removed. No beds were made, no coffee replaced (used cups left by the coffee maker & coffee pods not replaced). A problem with widow blinds was reported but no action taken after 2 days waiting."
