"We were traveling to drop our daughter off for her freshman year in college at ISU and needed a place to stay for the night after the long drive and move-in. The hotel is old and eclectic if you’re into that type of thing but, it is very well kept. I personally thought it was beautiful. It was very clean, the beds were super comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and the staff was kind and professional. My family and I will stay here again when visiting our daughter. "

"The location was very convenient for visiting UIUC. The facilities were clean and modern, and the rooms were spacious. The included breakfast was better than expected. Overall, a very nice experience."

"The room we had originally been assigned was having issues with the air conditioning and it was about 100 degrees outside. We told the front desk as we were leaving to get dinner and head to the state fair. They said they could fix it while we were gone. After being outside for the rest of the day we both just wanted a cool shower and to collapse into bed. We got into the room and it was still hot. Went downstairs and they moved us to a different room that was nice and cold. The next morning breakfast was lacking but we had been notified beforehand about this so not a big deal. The staff were amazing in helping us with the issues we had and were so kind. "
