"I was in Newport for a family & Friend celebration weekend to launch a law school career and stayed at OYO Waves because it was close to our venue and highly recommended. I was very happy with my large, modern, renovated, light filled room. I had an ocean front room and it was magnificent to be steps away from the ocean! The staff was also friendly and helpful. There was even breakfast included, access to a large fitness facility with swimming pool, hot tub, and dry sauna. I’d definitely stay there again. "

"Best Western??? Hard to believe this beautiful property is a BW. Have had so many questionable experiences with this chain in the past and am glad we gave this property a chance. I’m a Marriott member and this place proved to be better than many Marriott properties lately. Feel good about opting to stay here - you won’t be disappointed!"

"Management professionally and quickly rectified a minor snafu upon check-in (a housekeeper called out sick, leaving some rooms still messy). Once moved to a clean room, everything was great - bed was comfortable, bathroom and shower were good. The rooms only have heaters, so we opened the windows for cool air. And, then, in the morning, we noticed the closet area included a column fan for us - oh, well, we'll take the cool sea air any time. Did not even consider the breakfast offered at the hotel - and did not even check it out"
