But what truly sets this hotel apart are two key elements: their incredible rooftop bar and their absolutely amazing staff. The rooftop martini bar is, without a doubt, a highlight. The views over Sorrento and the Bay of Naples are breathtaking, especially at sunset. The ambiance is fantastic, and it quickly became our favorite place to relax after a day of exploring. It’s a 25min walk to the center of Sorrento If you're looking for an unforgettable experience in Sorrento, with an awesome rooftop bar and staff who are truly amazing, look no further than the Majestic Place Hotel! "This property was lovely! The shuttle was extremely convenient and saved us so much money on cabs into town. It’s about a 10 minute ride into downtown Sorrento. Breakfast was amazing and the view was INCREDIBLE. We really enjoyed sitting on the terrace and having a drink. Only comments to note would be that the pool and jacuzzi close at 7pm which is quite early when the sun sets around 9pm. Also, the restaurant offerings were quite fancy and expensive so we couldn’t have a casual dinner at the hotel for our more low key days. Service was great and we enjoyed reserving time in the small gym available. "

"Quick stay before an early morning flight. Appreciated the upgrade. Had an amazing meal on 9th floor outside terrace overlooking the water. This Michelin star restaurant was a wonderful experience."

"Wonderful suite with huge balcony (lovely view, including some sea and Vesuvius) and two ample bathrooms, one with plunge bath, one with large walk-in shower. Excellent breakfast and dining both in the restaurant and in the rooftop bar. Moderately busy area with nearby trains and buses with short walk to town centre with shopping and dining a-plenty, but Sorrento is not blessed with easily-accessible, good public beaches (but don't miss the cheap lift down to the harbours). The Grande Marina should not be missed. The staff at the hotel were so friendly and helpful and the only problem we had were related to the power dropping out occasionaly."
