Palacio del Inka, A Luxury Collection Hotel by Marriott
10/10 Excellent
"The staff was very attentive to our needs. My wife received oxygen as soon as she arrive due to the altitude sickness. Providing a schedule for spa time outside of the office hours was handled well by the concierge. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel to family and friends!"
"Good: nice breakfast/restaurant, proximity to the train station
Could be better: bedding had a black stain, you get woken up by birds at 4am, the train also choo-choos regularly (whatever room even facing the gardens, you WILL hear it)
For the price, not worth it I think."
"We thought this hotel was a great place to stay. The location was good for us as it is very close to the ruins and the plaza de Armes (with many restaurants and shops). There are a couple of cute sitting areas which was nice for meeting up with other family members.
Our rooms were next to the river with beautiful views. We were happy to have hot showers and a delicious breakfast in the morning. Plus the staff was very helpful. "
"This is essentially a guesthouse. Ask for a quiet room, as many of them open on to the courtyard and you hear everything as people come and go. The washrooms are stinky. The location is great. The roof top is nice. It's a solid cheapish option."
"Very special place. An oasis of calm 10 min for downtown Ollaytaytambo, with amazing views, good food, great spa, and nice accomodations. A highlight of our trip to Machu Picchu"
