"Kamala's guest house is like going to your friends' place to stay. Kamala made me feel comfortable the minute we walked in. I had a large room with a private balcony. The air conditioning worked well and the sheets are very soft and snuggly. The place is in a quiet alley with shops and shopping minutes away. Kamala arranged a sightseeing tour and cooking class for me. Both were great! I loved my time in Chiang Mai largely due to Kamala."

"Location was very good and the staff is very kind and accomodating. Bed comfortable. Hotel is tired, no gym, the pool is in the shade and no one uses it. Pictures make it look nicer then it is. It also borders on a large stinky water causeway. We only stayed here as a last minute resort afor one night and booked another one for 4 nights. "

"This hotel is very well located on the east side just outside Chiang Mai's old town. You can walk to Tha Pae gate which is very famous for photographs and that takes you into the old town. We got a room on the 6th floor with a beautiful view of the old town and Doi Suthep in the background - would definitely recommend asking for a room facing the west."
