This is truly a lovely boutique. The rooms are luxurious, comfortable, and clean. I love that they offer slippers and robes. Most recently I stayed in the Parkland Suite and it’s a unique room with a sunlit portico and a well-equipped kitchen.
My only negative experience involves a staff member *clipping their fingernails!* in the breakfast area, a mere few feet away from the food and in full view of any guests. This staff member didn’t stop when I approached to grab more food, so clearly they didn’t think there was anything wrong. I, however, found it off-putting, unsanitary, and completely unprofessional.
Would I still recommend the hotel? Yes. Overall, the rooms, the ambience, amenities, and service from other members of staff have all been great. I would happily stay here again, but I hope management takes time to train their staff on how to behave around guests and food.
