"Great hotel in a good location just a short walk into the city centre. Modern interior, great size family room. Lovely bar area with reasonably priced cocktails. Restaurant looked inviting too but we’d already booked elsewhere. Did have the breakfast in there though which was very good. Will be our No.1 choice for any future stays in Cambridge "

"This was our first stay at the Wilde hotel and we were very impressed. The room had everything you could possibly need and was very clean. The staff were very helpful and they had a great little shop in the reception area with gorgeous fresh pastries. We will definitely come back!!"

"Great food at the restaurant. Nice health suite for leisure activities. Room could do with a little renovation as the window doesn't close properly, leaving a gap. And some chipped tiles in the bathroom."

"Hotel, staff, breakfast and room all good. One disappointing point is that parking is extra and paid daily by an app. I forgot to renew for 2nd day so am expecting a ticket which is annoying as there is no alternative parking."

"The moment we entered the building it was like going back to the 1970's. To say a little TLC required is an understatement. Check in very slow. Our was in a separate wooden building smelling very fusty. Room was very old and basic. Shower cubicle door was very difficult to open and close and ended up coming off it's runners. This was reported to staff who said they would sort it out. After returning to the room some hours later it was obvious that nothing had been done. After complaining again we eventually got a new room which was better. The continental breakfast was less than adequate. Avoid !"

"Easy check in and was ready much earlier than anticipated. Breakfast was so fresh and lots of choice. Room was spotless. Communal areas were lovely."

"Parking was fine, plenty of space. Hotel very dated and in need of updating. Room odd!!! Massive pillar type thing in middle of room which had a tv attached to it. Tv was too big for said pillar and caused an obstruction. Room was really cold on arrival and the remote for the heating didnt seem to work. Staff were quick to rectify this for us but it didnt get much warmer. We didnt have breakfast so cant comment on that. Overall, i wouldnt stay again unless we were attending another event hosted by the hotel"
