"Super cute & clean location, with a bar and ice cream spot within walking distance. In the heart- downtown- of Beijing. Lots of shops/ restaurants nearby. Staff is superb! Not only did they order DD Aka Ubers for us, but they even walked us to meet our DD drivers, helped us get around on the subway and when we couldn't communicate, would happily get their Chinese to English translator out. They even checked in with us via WhatsAPP to make sure my girls and I made it to our DD after a wild night...

"If you are into the traditional housing experience of Beijing this is the platonic ideal. The service was impeccable really, we didn’t try the dining or options or activities because there is plenty to do in Beijing. There was some annoying xiaomi air purifier thing that’s literally my only critique, in that I had to stop it making random noises and lights during the night. "This hotel was excellent. The location was within walking distance to Forbidden City. Conveniently located to a lot of shopping- lots of local food near by. It had an excellent buffet style breakfast with many local and American options. Was extremely affordable. We had breakfast there everyday of our stay. The staff was super friendly and many spoke English.
The only thing which isn’t a deal breaker- the bathroom tub and toilet were a little dated but the rest of the room was excellent and beds were very comfy. "
