Frequently asked questions

Can I find holiday rentals in Chinatown?

Yes, there are holiday rentals close to the most popular sights in Chinatown, or you can select a more secluded option if you're looking for a relaxing stay. Our travellers say Chinatown has a good selection of charming coffee shops and top-notch restaurants. Make sure you have time to check out the monuments while you're in the area.

What are some of the best holiday rentals that Chinatown has to offer?

Shamrock Beach Villas 9: This holiday home rental outside of Chinatown offers a balcony, a rooftop terrace and air conditioning to help you feel perfectly comfortable in your new surroundings. Kitchen amenities include a full-sized fridge, a stovetop and a microwave.

What can I see and do in Chinatown?

Explore the area and cultural attractions such as Dr Sun Yat Sen’s Penang Base, or visit one of the family-friendly sights such as ESCAPE Adventureplay. While here, Georgetown UNESCO Historic Site and Queen Street are other places worth a visit.

What are holiday rentals like in Chinatown?

Holiday rentals are privately owned properties you can book for a few days, or a quick weekend, in Chinatown. Holiday rentals feature amenities such as kitchens and laundry facilities so you'll have everything you need. If you're concerned about a clean environment, a holiday rental can offer a sense of safety away from public hotel lifts and lobbies bustling with people while still allowing you the excitement and enjoyment of travel. You'll also get more space in a holiday rental than in a standard hotel, which is another reason why a holiday rental is a popular choice for families.
