Don't think our room has had a decent clean for awhile there was hair on the bathroom floor and in the shower. The shower leaked all over the floor very unsafe. the walls I'm the kitchen area were greasy. Wouldn't stay here again

Great location and friendly staff. Pictures online looked great, however, our room was filthy and smelt weird. The sheets were clean thank goodness. Walls and windows were so very grubby with marks and sticky fingerprints, and skirting boards had a layer of dust and dirt. Corners of rooms had dust and hair. Drain in bathroom absolutely reeked so we covered with towels- looked like it was full of hair, grime and what looked like toilet paper. Seals around bath/shower were mouldy as was around the plug in sink. Dusty furniture. Lots of light coming in through the night so no good of you are sensitive to light when sleeping. Beds were hard as rocks- husband now had a sore back and my hips ache (we are in our 20’s). Unfortunately we will not be returning here in the future.

Unfortunately the cleanliness of the rooms was disappointing. Cobwebs around the ceilings, skirting boards & walls were marked & dirty, and cushions were stained. Curtains were not hung properly, but thankfully the bathroom & kitchen facilities were tidy. Just not upto the standard we were used too.

Clean tidy quieter location than Riccarton Rd.
5 min walk to Westfield Riccarton, and was quieter than on Riccarton Rd. Clean and tidy, spacious. Just no stove or stove top to cook, just microwave, kettle, fridge. Would stay again

The property was in an ideal location within easy walking distance to mall and other activities. Great carparking safely off the street. If there were any slight complaints the chairs could be renewed.

Comfortable stay
We had a lovely overnight stay at 123. The location was amazing right near the mall and the free parking was appreciated. We also got a complimentary upgrade which was such a nice surprise.

The location was good.The people running the motel were very inexperienced.The carpet was filthy .The valance onthe bed was stained.The bedside lights didnt work.Therewereno net curtains on the ranchsliders.The plug in the sink didnt work.Therewas no dishcloth.There was a lack of cutlery.There was no towels changed over the three days or the rubbish bin emptied.The shower ,leaked and the outlet in the shower needed repaired.The extracter fan in the bathroom was not working properly because it was clogged up with dust and dirt.I cannot beleive that this motel got a 4 star rating.Unbeleivable

We did not get the room we booked, it was much smaller and not well maintained. The carpet and chairs were stained and the walls and ceiling were dirty. The curtains were sagging. The bedside tables were wonky and the coat hanger was broken and patched up badly. The sheets and towels were clean and the kitchen and bathrooms were too. But overall the place felt dirty. Staff offered a $50 refund if we were to leave and said we needed to complain to wotif if we wanted a full refund. They also said they were fully booked and could not change rooms, yet the car park was not full and the vacancy sign was on outside. I would not go back.

I do not recommend staying here if you have any other choice. We unfortunately ended up here as we had to stop in Christchurch last minute on New Years Eve, I just about cried when I saw the state of the room. It smelt, there was a large bug in the shower, the walls were all marked and lots of broken things within the room. To top it all off not only did we not feel safe leaving our belongings in our room while we were not there we were shocked to learn the room beside us had a brothel operating out of it?!!!! Multiple drunk males coming in and out with some very loud sounds.. we ended up leaving and sleeping in our truck.. what a night!!!!!!
