I enjoyed everything the spa bath to the comfortable sofa and TV and the warm comfortable bed and the fact that the motel room is very clean and spacious I also must add beautiful scenery and lovely staff made me feel welcome I would recommend this property to everyone

Always excellent
The hosts make a motel and they are terrific. Super comfortable beds, linens, air conditioning….five minutes walk to the shopping mall & 10 minutes drive from Christchurch Airport. Little touches like plunger coffee & fudge/cookies make a nice difference too.

I'm expecting that we will be at the ground floor as I have a knee problem but staff told me that we need to request it instead on our booking. Not happy with the service. Also, we requested for a room service but they just emptied our bin at the kitchen. Bed has not been made, toilet bin has not been emptied and towels has not been changed. These was our first visit in Christchurch and we are not satisfied in our accommodation.

We are sorry about the inconvenience. Had we received any form of communication regarding your room preference prior to your arrival, we would be happy to oblige. However, there's no prior communication indicates that you would like to have a ground floor unit, and by the time you arriving in the evening, all ground floor units were taken by other guests. Your room service was carried out on the 2nd day of your stay. We made your bed but didn't change sheets as we don't change sheets everyday if guest is staying, unless they are stained. The used towels were hung on the rack so we didn't change them assuming that guest will use them again as their commitment to environmental sustainability. We would had changed them if they were left on the bathroom floor.

Full Kitchen facility
Booked this from Taranaki, and the motel is in such a good area for someone new to Christchurch. Motel had full kitchen facilities, was very clean and bed very comfortable. Will definitely stay here again next time in the area.

Reasonabley modern unit, close to shops and restaurants. The kitchen was fully self contained, with a stove top and microwave. Modern bathroom and comfortable king size bed. It is quite a long walk into Cristchirch, but very nice walking through the park.

As the temperature outside got very cold during the night, it was a little bit cold inside. The covers have been very thin for that. But this was the only thing to reclaim.

Long weekend for family wedding
Very handy to Riccarton mall shops and great restaurants and easy to get around the city from. We were kept awake by lots of noise late at night from other guests and the motel's bright flood light coming though the blind on the room doo, and the basic bed mattress was not very comfortable- no pillow top or mattress topper. Staff did provide a quilt for extra cushioning which helped a little. The room was compact but well set out, with everything we needed plus good tv and wifi.
