"I’m very disappointed with my experience here. While the property was beautiful and clean and the onsen pools were beautiful, the service here was some of the worst I’ve ever experienced. I arrived to the hotel around 10 AM at which point all of the restaurants and all of the Hot Springs and the gift shop were closed. and public baths. Location wise the hotel is a 10min walking from the bus stop (Hakone free pass) or 4 mins walking from the other bus line in Hakone. There aren’t many restaurants around so plan ahead as the only ones around closed around 8pm."
