"All of the above. Buffet breakfast was great, entire staff was friendly, professional, clean room but slippers would have been great as floor is carpeted. Amenities were wonderful."

"I stayed at this hostel from December 22–27. Overall, it was a nice stay and the staff were very helpful and kind. We arrived late, and although our room wasn’t ready, they accommodated us with another room for the night and moved us the next day, which we appreciated. Communication could have been better, and the soap in the washroom wasn’t refilled during our stay. Overall, a good experience with minor areas for improvement. If ever I’m in Montreal again, they will be seeing me!!"

"The property is well located within walking distance to most places and an easy descend to city centre. Room was clean, bed and beddings were comfortable and clean overall facilities and common areas. Has a functional gym where I could get a decent workout. Breakfast was decent and plenty except didn’t have much option for vegetarian people. But overall stay was excellent. Will rebook if I need to."

"Excellent property in a busy touristy area within walking distance to Old Montreal. Excellent amenities in the room and very helpful and knowledgeable front desk and bell staff. Didn’t know anything about the breakfast. Nobody told us. But the staff at the main bar and restaurant somehow got our order wrong a whopping three times during a two night stay! One was for a type of coffee, another time they gave us and charged for a dozen oysters when we ordered a half dozen, and a different type of champagne. The bartenders there are not good listeners I guess. But with no other options inside the hotel. Brings down the overall grade of the hotel. "
