"We enjoyed our two night stay at the Journey Inn B & B. The hosts, Valerie and Eric, run a very pleasant inn just opposite the Vanderbilt Mansion in Hyde Park. The Inn is friendly and welcoming, breakfast is good, our room was fine."

"This is an interesting location because there is no front desk. Check-in occurs at a different lodging close by. The very lovely Continental breakfast is likewise at a different spot, with people from several lodgings there (all affiliated with the main place). It worked out very well. It's a modest property, but clean and quite satisfactory."

"Breakfast was mediocre.The quality of products was not up to the level of the hotel. There was no microwave available to guests in case it was needed. Room 101 for handicapped had one rolling chair which is not the stationary chair recommended by doctors for elder people to avoid falls.Late checkout was not communicated so guest could not open room door after 11am."

What I liked about our room is that we had access to a microwave, fridge and free breakfast (omelette pancake sausage cereal and fruit) in the AM and coffee machines in the lobby 24/7. There’s a pool available in the summer. The hallways could use more lighting. If it weren’t for the above amenities, I would give it a 3. Otherwise, 4 for me."
