"Lovely hotel, friendly staff. Very clean. Room was lovely, comfy bed, again really clean. TV needs upgrading/fixing though. Alot of old channels as if not been retuned for a long time. Spa was amazing. The Jacuzzi with open air element was spot on for the soul."

"Only had need of one night. Restaurant, bar and reception friendly and helpful. Lodge well equipped though could do with more instruction (heating was a faff). A bit tired and chairs/ sofa not very comfortable. Main issue was proximity to main road and railroad. Could do with better glazing."

Trough of Bowland is on the ‘doorstep” which is a lovely area with outstanding natural landscapes.

Great little town with lots of bars, restaurants, shops and galleries. The Grand Venue was a super concert venue with good acoustics. We will be visiting again soon to explore the castle and to eat at Holmes Mill.
