"This is must stay for me, we only booked for one night as we were passing through. However I wished we would’ve stayed longer. Check in was incredibly simple and easy. It is contactless, but we ran into the owner Mark at the front, and he was super nice and very helpful! The entire lodge inside and out is immaculate. It provides a coziness and elegance to it that is difficult to capture in a picture. The lounge holds history, the rooms are spotless and comfortable. 10/10 in my book. If we are even back in the area, we would stay again!"

Despite the hotel having an issue with both chefs being out due to illness, the staff did an amazing job of making up for that. The continental breakfast they offered was second to none and our travel companion loved the option of whisky with his porridge! Hats off to the staff for their ability to pivot and make our stay memorable and enjoyable. Thank you!"
