We stayed at Let et Lola for 4 nights while visiting Cluj. The hotel is a bit hard to find upon first arrival as there is sign on the main street showing which way to go but then you drive down a narrow alley to a gate that has no sign on it so it's a bit confusing. Upon entry to the gated area, the hotel is right in front of you, with lots of parking. The rooms are of a good size and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast options were varied and of high quality. Staff was great. The only things that was a bit annoying was that there is a smoking area just outside the front door. We are non- smokers and it seems that many people in Romania smoke so it was a problem for us at restaurants as well, but the smoke from the smoking areas at the hotel floated upwards into the hotel room if the window open. Overall good value for the hotel room and we would stay here again if we returned to Cluj.

Lol et Lola Hotel is a great place to stay!
Excellent friendly service, comfortable stay (4 nights), tasty hot breakfast every morning. The hotel is close walking distance away from the University, where my conference was held. Good places to eat dinner nearby.

A nice surprise
this hotel was a nice surprise. it's very friendly, breakfast was great and they have parking spots. just one "thing": it might be difficult to find it if you miss the street where is located

The hotel is in a super quiet area but right downtown close to everything. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the staff was very polite and helpful. Would book again.

All our rooms have a specific design, the one you stayed in (Fair Play) has the football thematic, therefore the wardrobe resemble the one you would find in a locker room, the chair is a pouf football ball and the carpet is lined like a football field. Clean, friendly staff and very helpfull, very quiet since it’s situated on a smaller street but getting through the gate with the car from the street is impossible since the space is very tight! So you have to would have to enter from a street further up! Besides that it was great, great amenities, great breakfast

Perfect Cluj stay
I booked a room for my teenaged daughter. After emailing the hotel, they sent a shuttle to the airport to pick her up at 2am. They were so helpful and personable. I felt confident she was safe & well cared for during her stay. She loved the room she stayed in. It was perfect for one person. Beautiful decor and clean, in a walkable neighborhood, with a delicious breakfast too!

It's a great hotel to stay in Cluj. It has free parking and it's 7 minutes away from downtown walking. The rooms are new and clean, and staff is always there for anything you might need.

Great newer unique hotel in Cluj
Great hotel that definitely has some unique rooms. We slept great in this place. It is close enough to the pedestrian area - 10 min walk - of Cluj along with the bonus of free parking (and the parking lot seemed big enough so parking isn't an issue). Breakfast was surprisingly good as well. I highly recommend staying here.

Best hotel in Eastern Europe.
The hotel room and service at this hotel was excellent. The bed mattress was an excellent king size that wasn't to hard or to soft. The hotel rooms was all uniquely decorated with bright colours and they even had facial wash cloths which was the first time I've seen them available at hotels in Europe. My complete stay was excellent. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel for anyone and their families.

Amazing...Amazing! Small hotel with superbly decorated theme rooms (see them on their web site). Friendly staff, especially Marina in reception who organised 2 full day trips for us with a great guide. Location is a little hard to find but the journey is worth it.

Great find close to the old town, would stay again
This is a lovely hotel with great service. The rooms are quirky however are clean and there was plenty of space for a couple of nights stay (although the rooms are not huge), good bathroom with a really nice shower. We were on the 4th floor so had skylights rather than windows meaning the room did get very hot however the air con in the room is brilliant when it gets going. Good breakfast each morning, again friendly service. There is a lovely outside terrace which is a great spot after a day of sightseeing for a drink and to catch the last of the sun. Great location 5 minutes walk from the old town and 10 minutes maximum from the main square, it’s also an easy walk in an area that feels really safe. As a final note the hotel is hard to find, sat nav will take you to the right place (we used uber and google maps and it got us there) but look out for a gate with a gated door in it, go through and the hotel is at the bottom of the drive, there is a small sign next to the gate if you look closely. The other tip is to look for the pink neon sign of the hotel, it will feel like you’re not in the right place for the hotel but you are!! I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again good location, nice and quiet and felt like good value for money.

Great place, quirky and relaxed with great staff. Excellent if you don’t have big suitcases as the room was quite small. Loved the little black cover for the room DND/Please clean sign that blocked the light from it during the night. We would definitely return.

Room was clean if a little dusty in some places, bed was very comfortable, bathroom and shower were clean and nice. Hotel staff were amazing, constantly helping when I had problems and were very kind. Really good hotel

Modern, fun hotel with free parking!
Attentive staff, fun decor, and great small touches (shoe shine sponges, sewing kits, etc. ). We needed parking in Cluj but still wanted to be close to the Old Town. The Lol et Lola has a large, secure parking lot and is a ten minute walk to the Old Town. Perfect. Somewhat tricky to find, but studied the route on Gooogle street view beforehand and it was much easier! It is down a one way alley. So the room was also quiet. And they include a pretty decent breakfast. My one quibble is the mat inside the shower- it covered the drain and was not clean so we took it out. Otherwise, the modern shower with amazing rain like shower head and a regular one, was awesome! Overall a great hotel.

It was not easy to find the hotel as we arrived late at 2am in the morning and the road taxi took us to drop us close by was in constructions. So not great! Check in was quick. Keys were ready. No questions of what room type we would like, especially cause I am a light sleeper. No description of the room given nor directions very quick and expeditive. Room was small for a couple. Courtains were dropping guess someone pulled them strong previously and HSK did not pick up on it. The bedroom was nice colourful. Bathroom was not properly cleaned and dusty. You could tell room was not inspected before we got there. Pillows way too thick. If you sleep 2 in bed you need 2 blankets as they are small and fit only one person. Had a spare one in the weardrobe. Weardrobe very small. Not even enough for one person. Nothing to hang your towel in the bathroom. I believe bathroom was not thought initially to serve this purpose as you could see the adjustments made. Shower door all the water on the floor. Would not izolate the water and will go through the edges. Breakfast was okay still not much variety and shelfs not sure why were placed so high up as was looking at the people struggling to get their milk. Luckly I am tall. Check out was smooth. Overall I could go on and on however if you are lookong for a quite place remote that is the place.

The hotel is chic, fun, but a bit hard to find. It was quite, clean, nice staff helpful and friendly. The room was a bit small, the toilet and the shower are basically part of the room only a glass door divides it from rest of the room. The 4th floor rooms have windows on the ceiling!

Perfect located for visiting the city
The hotel location is perfect, close to downtown, to shops, restaurants, night life. The rooms are comfortable, the place is a bit hidden from the main street so it's quiet, the breakfast is excellent, the stuff helpful and discreet and very important for Cluj, it has its own parking (included in the room fare). This is our second stay, first it was when the place was called "Capitol", the decor has changed but the service excellence is the same.

Nice stay
As Capitol hotel was under renovation, we have been sent to the Central hotel which is just 100 m down the street. We loved the quiet room facing a little park, the friendly staff that helped us carry the luggage and the yummy breakfast! Thanks :)

Very conveniently located, close to downtown
If you are looking for a base to explore Cluj-Napoca this is the place for a good night sleep and a very good breakfast to start the day. The personal was professional and discreet, the room clean and serve very well its purposes. It's a bit hard to find, though. If driving, better find the entrance by foot, it's an alley between 2 buildings, there is a bank machine on the corner.
