"Courtney at the front desk was awesome. Very helpful, friendly and nice. The chair in our room was very wobbly, she found us a replacement right away. The carpet had some spots on it, but the room had a couch and a desk and chair. It was noisy. The bed was clean and comfortable and the shower was great."

"My wife and I were celebrating our third anniversary and it was an amazing experience. The staff was very friendly in our room was very clean. However, there is some deferred maintenance on a few parts of the resort that they seem to be working on and improving at a gradual pace so you’ll see some of that however, the location is awesome. We were able to just go over to the Highport Marina and rent a boat and go out on the lake. Once they do all their upgrades I can give them a five star on their maintenance and upkeep it is an older resort so that’s part of the nostalgia Work on their breakfast buffet items and make them a little bit fresher. Also, they have a tower that has a bar called whiskey bar at the top of the observation deck, which is amazing to see the sunset. Also, I do want to give extra recognition to Wendy and Dylan at work behind front desk, they were able to take care of us very well. They were extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back there because of them. We live in Dallas Texas, so it’s not too far of a drive for us so we just found a new close to home destination"

It was an absolutely amazing adventure that exceeded every single one of our expectations. The entire process was seamless and incredibly well-organized. The guides/hosts were phenomenally knowledgeable, patient, and full of infectious energy that made the day even more special. It balanced pure excitement with wonderful hospitality, leaving both of us completely captivated. It was genuinely a life-disrupting, beautiful memory that we will treasure forever. Don't even hesitate—just book it! For us, we’re looking forward to arranging to bring more family with us next time for a possible giraffe adventure! Thank you again Oak Meadow Ranch for such a one-a-lifetime adventure!"
