I liked my stay at this hostel and found it to be affordable and comfortable. All staff members were friendly and welcoming. The only thing I didn’t find quite right was the laundromat as the washing machine was out of service during my stay, but it wasn’t a big deal for me. Looking forward to visit Cologne and stay at this hostel again!

Good value for money

The hotel is good value for money. We knew it wouldn’t be so central. But in fact the connection with public transport is very good. The room was very spacious. Beds comfortable and a lot of storage in the room.

Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful view of the Rhine from my balcony. Simple but tasty breakfast. Generally, quiet but the heavy doors and lock mechanisms were a little intrusive with guests coming and going. But overall, a wonderful place to stay. Highly recommended.

The hotel is located a little distance away from the city but the public transport can get you there asap. The service was great; the staff were very helpful anytime I had questions about my stay. My only complaint is the washer and dryer. They dont work very well because of their old age

Encuentro que deberían mejorar en cuanto a no cobrar por toalla, ya que yo venía por una noche y en todos los hoteles que he estado en Alemania, me dejan toallas limpias. Y aquí tuve que pagar por una.

Ich war mit meinem Aufenthalt zufrieden. Das Hotel war angenehm und besonders erfreulich war, dass das Frühstück überraschenderweise im Preis inbegriffen war. Ich kann die Jugendherberge weiterempfehlen!

Die Unterkunft ist sehr einfach, das war auch nicht das Problem. Allerdings ist die Aufteilung so dass das Bad zwar in einem extra Raum ist, Waschbecken aber im Gemeinschaftsraum. Wenn der erste aufsteht kommen die anderen nicht mehr zur Ruhe. Handtücher es nicht, wie auch für die Etagenbetten-Zimmer angegeben, inklusive. Wir mussten sie nachzahlen. Wir hätten auch welche mitgebracht, dafür muss es aber auch wissen. Wenigstens ein Stück Seife für die Hände hätten wir aber erwartet. Frühstück ist überschaubar, aber auch als Veganer bekommt man einen veganen Aufstrich, Margarine, Obst, Gurken und auf Anfrage pflanzliche Milch für Müsli. Das nächste Mal würden wir wohl doch eine etwas komfortablere Unterkunft wählen. Der Schlaf wäre es uns wert.
