Staff were great and helpful at all times. Took a star off because the elevator was broken for 2 days out of our stay. There is a great Chinese buffet placee next to the hotel and it was close to the shopping district as well.

We stayed in a room that was perfect for a family of 4 with 2 separate bedroom areas. Location of hotel was perfect; close to main train station and the Cologne Cathedral. Very walkable to shopping and the Rhine. Very convenient and felt safe. Minor drawback was that the room felt warm even with fans going and moderate temperatures outside.

I enjoyed my stay at this property and would recommend it. The room was a bit smaller than I expected but not an issue. It was safe, quiet, and clean which are the most important to me. The staff was very nice, patient, and friendly. My German is not good but they no issue answering my questions. The area is central so I could walk almost everywhere I needed to go.

A convenient stop over.

We stayed for a one night break on our travel by road. The hotel was adequate for our needs and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The city centre location was ideal with the magnificent Cathedral within east walking distance.Parking was in a nearby car park at extra cost (23 euros) The breakfast was better than average.

Very happy. Staff were helpful and friendly and very chilled. Location was perfect - very close to centre. Room was very modern and just right for an overnight stay - would have been sufficient for a king weekend as well. Many thanks to the team :)

Property is very centrally located and easy walking distance to the cathedral. Overall we liked our room, but unfortunately we discovered on our first night that one of the windows was broken and they were unable to fix it until the next day. But the front desk staff was friendly and helpful.

Nice location. Clean.

The lady at the front desk was very nice. The room for three was spacious and clean. The hotel was 8 minute walk to the Cathedral and 18 mins walk to the Chocolate Museum. There’s a cheap asian buffet beside the hotel. I was disappointed when the Hotel also asked for €32 for the third person’s breakfast even if we paid for a room of three pax. Hotels.com only advised to pay for the tax but Opera Hotel added a breakfast charge.
