Good value for money. The hotel is located in a residential/half-sketchy neighborhood. The hotel itself is well maintained and the staff is very nice. Just a few hundred meters away from the tram that takes you straight to the city.

There was construction going on above our room at 8am in the morning I find that very uncaring and not treating people the way that they would like to be treated Upon inquiring I was told that the construction was planned So why rent that room However the front desk attendant was very apologetic and gave us another room which was an upgrade Also free breakfast for our inconvenience The hotel is located in a residential neighborhood which seems fine Supermarket is located 5 minutes walking They area is very peaceful restaurant is very nice and serves wonderful breakfast

Breakfast was good. The room itself was nice enough, big bed. The “Stadtblick” was a view of surrounding houses, so not really of the city. The bathroom had water stains on the wall from water damage on all sides. The tissues, the soap and the bath gel was empty. They did have an a/c unit in the room which was cranked up and very helpful as it was 37C while we were there. Checking in they didn’t believe we had already booked and payed for breakfast. After about ten minutes and me showing them in my booking that breakfast was included they finally “found” the correct booking in the system and I didn’t have to pay for breakfast again. All in all the hotel was ok, but very costly, especially for it being so far away from the actual city center.

Trendy hotel - limited dinner menu

Gorgeous hotel! Very comfortable and stylish. Dinner menu was very disappointing though - but apparently we arrived whilst they were revamping the menu. It would’ve been nice to have more choice. Excellent location if you’re attending an event at Koelnmesse.

Clean hotel great staff just needed some TLC

Staff were excellent and very friendly. Room was clean but the Toilet seat was broken and the sink had a leak which made the towels wet underneath, but it was still a very pleasant stay. AC worked brilliantly!

The service at reception was very slow. We ended up being helped by a very helpful guy. But the one who welcomed us was rude and unhelpful, even getting into an argument with another guest about the service level. Everything else about the hotel was great. We didn’t stay for breakfast (booking made me put a score!) but the hotel room smelt nice, the bed was comfortable, the room was well equipped and modern. We were given free parking as we had to wait so long at reception which was really appreciated.

Looks good but bad experience

Excellent hotel, comfortable, nice designs, but sadly I experienced a flooding in the bathroom just taking a shower. Arrived Very late, tired and this happened. Phone was not working, rooms in a basement had not network thus I had to go to reception at midnight to ask for help. They gave me another room where the heater was turned on at 32 degrees! So impossible to sleep straight with such heat (even the walls and bed were extremely hot so no time to cool down. The personel tried to help bit couldn't do much, and I was not in the best mood that late to wait at reception.

Paid a 125 Euro deposit on arrival which I was told would be refunded on departure. That’s fine. Although I am now told it can take up to two weeks. I can live with that. However, on departure I authorised them to take the city tax amount from my debit card. Tax was around 39.00. Again fine. However, the tax payment was followed up with another payment taken of 70.54 which was not authorised. Hotel have been unhelpful and dismissive. No not allow them to keep your card info. I will now have to report fraudulent activity.

Nice overnight!!

Didn't take breakfast but the hotel was very convenient and quaint. Good for a overnight. Would recommend! Make sure the door is closed, some hard to shut.

Even though I had paid the full hotel fee when I made the reservation months in advance, they unilaterally cancelled my reservation, without any prior notice, on the morning of the day of my stay. Will they give me a proper refund? I will have to wait and see.

I stayed there 3 nights and its told me that the room will not be cleaned cos of corona. Thats quiet untypical. The towels 3 days long not changing and not making the room clean is not a good idea. There is no breakfast buffet. you have to pick your Breakfast and eat in your room. At least we could use the tables in restaurant.

No cold water no service

No cold water and when we informed reception they said they will send someone the following day, we only had a night there and so they literally didn’t care and so we had to use the showers of another room as we we’re travelling together.
