"The room was great and the location was fantastic. The desk set up a wonderful wine tour in Carmelo for us. But the standout was the food in the restaurant. Breakfast was great and our dinner there was nothing short of spectacular. We recommend this hotel and restaurant for your trip to Colonia "

"Very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast with fresh fruit included. Air conditioning worked well, quiet and peaceful area. WiFi in the room was inconsistent (inconsistent/dropped connection) though. "

"Perfectly clean and very modern, small, boutique hotel with excellent service. My most comfortable stay in Uruguay, and well located within walking distance to everywhere you need to go; the historic district, bus station, and ferry station are all within 10 minutes. Breakfast was very simple with appetizer sized ham and cheese sandwiches, croissants, and a few fruit options. Service at breakfast was excellent."

"PROS: The receptionist, Aldana, was very friendly and helpful. The room was kept clean. The mini breakfast was perfect to start your day. Good location. Shower pressure and instant hot water were nice to have. Water dispenser in breakfast room. CONS: The towels were thin, stained, and smelled funky. *** The wood floors left splinters in our socks. My husband had to remove a sliver of wood from my foot using a pair of tweezers. The floor in Room 4 needs to be sanded and resealed. ***"
