"Location was great - central to everything. The staff was wonderful - very helpful. Great AC. We didn't realize they didn't have an elevator and our room was on the 2nd floor (which had a lovely view of the lake). They helped with luggage but was a little tough on my old lady knees. We would totally stay there again and highly recommend to everyone who can handle stairs. "

Very hot and extremely busy when we were there, not surprising for August. Always ridiculous queues for ferry tickets even at 7am! So got the C110 bus up the west lakeside. Stopped at Argegno for breakfast, went up the cable car for great views (no queue, very quiet), then got the bus to Menaggio, lovely town and got the ferry back. No queue at ticket office and plenty of availability. "
