"The pool was lovely . There are several restaurants within easy walking distance. Disliked the number of rules at the property -for instance you cannot have your own food and drinks on terrace/ in room yet they sell no food and only a minimal drink selection. The shower needs to be hooked up as holding it in your hand to shower in 2022 really isn’t acceptable . Rooms need updating . "

"Pascale, the owner, was incredibly helpful and friendly. She helped with dinner reservations and information about the area. Breakfast was made to order in a darling dining room. The entire property was charming nestled next to a vineyard. On-site parking and a lovely garden were a bonus. I would highly recommend staying here if you are interested in the Medoc area, "

"le site est bien mais malheureusement mal ou pas entretenu. la principale attraction est la piscine mais elle souffre d'un vrai manque d'entretien, ses carreaux se détachent et les dalles autour se soulèvent sous nos pas le bungalow sent le renfermé , dommage."

"People at the reception were rude. Everything is closed from noon to 3pm. So all indoor activities are closed even if the weather is bad. Children are not allowed to the indoor pool except very early in the morning or one hour before closing. We came to have swimming activities with our child when the weather is bad.... Fail. Also the mini golf was not "open" anymore. The only thing they would have to do is clean it. The playground and the gym were also very run down. "

"Fabulous accommodation; very close to Lacanau Lake with plenty of water sports activities available. Only short drive from Lacanau Océan Resort. We loved our stay here. Accommodation was clean and comfortable. The swimming pool was lovely for cooling off and the bakery pre-order service was a nice touch. Moat of all, the warm welcome and friendly staff made our visit. We hope to return in the future and highly recommend Les Vacancioles."

"L'endroit est fort sympatique, (lieu, calme), la piscine très agréable également mais alors les logements sont vétustes, la literie désagréable et la baie vitrée ne se ferme pas à clefs, je vous conseille donc de ne rien emmener de valeurs! "We went with my son age 9 and he loved the pools. It was very handy for the beautiful beach and Atlantic Sea. It was also very convenient for the Carrefour Contact supermarket and all the bars, shops and restaurants in town. We had a studio for x4 people ( we were a group of 3) and it was perfectly adequate. Very clen and a nice balcony. It was a bit small, but much bigger than where we had briefly stayed before going there. But we booked very much at the last minute and we liked it. We would like to come again and book a larger apartment. There is no air con, but we had two plug in fans that we had bought with us, so those and the balcony door being left open when we were there , was fine. "

"The hotel was generally very good in terms of bedroom and wellness centre. However, having specifically chosen this hotel due to its dining option and facility, at check in we were told the dining room was closed to hotel guests as they were catering for a large event. In our opinion, this is unacceptable and in such a circumstance, provision should be maintained for hotel guests especially as this provision forms part of the 4 star rating and nightly price."
