"We stayed in a Family Swim-Out Room with our infant and preschooler and had a wonderful holiday overall. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the swim-out pool was the highlight, used every day by our family.
The resort is large, well maintained and the food was excellent. We especially enjoyed the main buffet, Reef Buffet for Jamaican dishes and the Italian restaurant. The smoothie bar was a daily favourite, and the 24-hour café was perfect for quick snacks and sandwiches for the children.
Housekeeping was the main area needing improvement. Despite tipping daily, we often had to request basic toiletries such as shampoo and body wash. Our room service indicator light was also broken throughout our stay despite being reported.
The beach has lovely soft sand, but the water is quite rocky, so water shoes are highly recommended for adults and children. The waterpark was great fun for our kids, although some areas are better suited to older children.
The Kids Club staff were friendly and caring, though the activities felt a little limited compared with other family resorts.
The resort is quite isolated, and essentials in the gift shop are expensive, so plan ahead if travelling with young children.
Overall, the excellent food, swim-out room, family-friendly facilities and friendly staff made for a very enjoyable stay. We would happily return and recommend it to other families."
