"We only crashed on our way out of Puertos Natales after hiking at Torres del Paine. For this purpose, the room was great and had everything that we needed - clean + hot running water and the price was right. The hotel deservedly won architectural awards for its forward looking eco-friendly design that enables the hotel to retain 58% of the incident sunlight in a climate in which this is a highly desirable feature. "We were really impressed with the hospitality here! Norlly is fantastic.
I hadn’t stayed at a “hostel” before, but my son has many times in Europe, and this was nothing like that. It felt more like a cross between a cozy bed-and-breakfast and a hotel. We originally booked because my son is 6'5", and most hotels only offered only one double/queen bed or two twins, which wouldn’t have worked for us. We were able to store our bags for free while doing the O Circuit, which was a huge help. Norlly is incredibly kind and goes out of her way to make sure all your needs are met. Breakfast was really good as well."
