"Overall an enjoyable stay, Had a very good night’s sleep, bed comfortable and the room was clean, well furnished, tastefully decorated with some pleasantly quirky touches, generally a relaxing environment to spend time in. Breakfast was good. Bedroom being in a basement was a surprise, particularly given that the room was advertised as having a garden view, and there was quite a strong musty / damp smell in the room."

"Stunning medieval building in beautiful grounds. I attended a wedding there and the facilities were amazing. The rooms are beautiful but slightly tired but I guess it adds to the medieval authenticity. The only downside was the cost and the fact you have to pay for parking, even if you stay."
