"We had an amazing stay at Privilege Aluxes in Isla Mujeres and can’t recommend it enough! The beach was absolutely beautiful—crystal clear water with no sargassum, making it perfect for relaxing and swimming. What truly made our experience unforgettable was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. A special shoutout to Lalo at the swim-up bar—he makes the most delicious mixed drinks and is such a warm, friendly person! The rooms were spotless and very comfortable, and we loved having 24-hour room service. The food was another highlight—both the Satay restaurant and the Brazilian restaurant were absolutely delicious. Check-in and check-out were quick and seamless, which made everything even more convenient. The hotel is also in a perfect location, close to everything, yet it truly has everything you need on-site—you really don’t have to go anywhere else. We would definitely stay at Privilege Aluxes again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Isla Mujeres! "

"The hotel is very nice and the staff is outstanding. Everyone is pleasant and helpful. The food was just okay, but had enough options so that you could always find something you liked. This is not a party hotel and there is no music blaring at the pool. You can relax, read and really enjoy yourself. The pool is large but sometimes there are a lot of kids in the pool. You are able to go to the adult pool on the roof to find some quiet. We like the more remote location and rent golf cart to get around. "

"Wonderful resort, good food a few items not to my liking but overall very good “fantastic pizza at SeaSalt” extremely friendly staff with shout outs to Lizbeth, Liza at reception, Ivan life guard” great guy”, Claudia and Karen on the beach, Juan, Javier and Alajendro at Boca, Omar and Pablo at SeaSalt, Andrea and Floberto at the pool cafe and Diego the Manager. All made our trip special."

"Staff was so warm and welcoming! They were so helpful as well, we lost our phone/wallet in the taxi when we were on our way out and Sebastian at the front desk was so kind and helpful he messaged around and was able to get it back for us. Restaurant staff was so sweet as well resort is so gorgeous and private as well barely anyone there during our stay. Only complaint I have was towels were so old they had holes/ missing fabric and sometimes came dirty. Also they haven’t changed the name of the hotel to Esplendor yet it is still Hotel Beló and we spent a good 20 min trying to find it with the Taxi only to find out the name is different from the one on Expedia. Besides that we really enjoyed our stay! The staff really are amazing and kind! "

"Breakfast is OK. It was kind of small portions. I was very surprised there wasn’t refills on our coffee and I have never seen that in my life Some of the weight staff was friendly and a few other others seemed like they didn’t enjoy their job jobs It was a great location very nice beach. I thought it was a great the way they had somebody rake up what little sarcasm there was. Too many cats for my taste The sushi restaurant across the street was wonderful The staff at the front desk was very nice and helpful I thought the drinks at the bar were way overpriced. I don’t pay that much in the United States."

"A hidden gem nestled away in the middle of the island, away from the bustle of the north beaches, but not too far to get in/out of town. The house was well appointed, the pool was excellent and the service provided by Mariana was excellent. "
