"We love staying at Privilege Aluxes in Isla Mujares! The beach is beautiful, the pool and grounds are relaxing and great, the rooms are immaculately clean and the staff is very friendly and attentive. We learned that many guests continue to come back year after year - because it is such a lovely place! Although you can choose an affordable all inclusive option (or just go with the included breakfast - which I highly recommend eating on the beautiful beach) it’s a small resort so the atmosphere is very mellow and relaxing and not the typically overcrowded all inclusive experience. Huge shout out to Andres and Jesus who took great care of us and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and luxurious. We will be back. Ty!"

"The first part of our experience was the friendly and informative greeting we had a check-in. The room was clean with a nice balcony. It is Oceanfront not beachfront meaning no beach but it is close. The restaurant staff is friendly and accommodating with good food. A small pool is nice and refreshing. Quite an enjoyable 9 day stay. "

"Balu Hotel was amazing for our family! We live on the island and wanted to do a staycation for our daughter's birthday. We really appreciated the staff being so kind and welcoming. Loved that our dogs were allowed the rooms allowed easy access for them to go outside. The pool was great - our daughter couldn't get enough of it. The hotel itself was wonderful on its own, and it is in a fantastic district where you can walk to anything your heart desires - restaurants, parks, beaches. Already planning our next staycation here. Thanks for a great stay! "

"My stay was just I needed. This is a small well kept boutique that appears to be family run where they are available at all times for anything that you need. The roof deck while small was very tranquil had a small pool that turns into a Jacuzzi and six or seven last year that were peaceful, great place to relax Very happy with my experience there "

"When we arrived we were greeted warmly by a young woman named Leira! She checked us in and showed us to our room. What a surprise! The studio is huge, with a kitchen, huge terrace with incredible ocean views and a very nice bathroom. Daily cleaning service was a nice surprise as well. Communication with Clara, the he owner/manager was lovely and warm. She came by our place and delivered coffee personally which was so sweet. We loved the location because it’s minutes to the heart of the Centro, but removed from all of the hubbub. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again. We visit the island twice a year! "
