"We stayed in the Rhubarb room and lived the complete kitchen with a huge wet bar! Also having a coffee table and comfortable chairs/sofa was nice. Plenty of beds (5) for most families. The check in process was slightly confusing. Read the email carefully. The entry door was tough to find but it is right by the Restaurant du Banneret. The location was perfect, right by the Chateau. "This is more than a hotel stay. It’s an experience. From the moment you arrive you feel transported to a different life. Every staff member makes you feel like you are their most important guest. After checking us in and making sure we had dinner reservations Geulia took us on a tour of the gorgeous and meticulously maintained hotel and facilities then personally took us to our room to ensure we were pleased. Our room and view were spectacular, so quiet and luxurious, every detail thoughtful and beautiful but also comfortable. The pool, spa and restaurants as well as the surrounding areas by the lake are romantic and walkable- there is no need to leave the hotel. We also enjoyed the history of the hotel as well as pictures of famous people who have stayed. Even the gift shop was a delight as Nolwen treated me to a beauty refresher and made me feel like a queen for an afternoon. All in all a magnificent stay. If a once in a lifetime 5 star experience is on your bucket list- this is the one to go to! "

"The property is immediately opposite Lausanne rail station and between the 2 metro stops. It is very quiet inside the hotel and the bed was extremely comfortable. There is a coffee maker in the room and a carafe for water. The shower is great. The staff are all very helpful, with ideas for places to visit and transport information "
