"Stayed for a three nights at this cottage, it was lovely! Right in the countryside, surrounded by amazing views and only a short 10min drive to Alton Towers. Perfect for a family of three with everything you need for a short or long stay. Great location! Will definitely stay again! 😆👏 "
"Well lovely spacious accommodation so close to Alton towers I sort of worked out it is quicker to walk from the cottage than it is to drive into the car park and walk. I was very happy being in there and the large sofa and fire were so homely "
"Hotels.com with the hotel have some payment issue. When I check in the hotel front desk staff said that i need to pay for this trip, however, I already fully paid when i booked the hotel. After check and clarified she confirmed already received my payment. And I called to Hotel.com the staff request me to pay again for the hotel and refund my previous payment with Hotel.com due to some payment issue between Hotel.com and the Hotel. But is it the issue of customer why i have to do that.

"My wife and I had a lovely two-night stay to visit Alton Towers and our Beehive stay was perfect. The location is idyllic, tucked away in a little village along the river, whose sound provided great ambiance through our open window (we stayed in the Premier King). It is also extremely convenient for visiting the theme park, less than two miles away with our dinner location of choice for both nights (The Star at Cotton) smack in the middle.
We were greeted by Jo, who provided tremendous, friendly customer service throughout our stay including during breakfast, during which we enjoyed high quality English breakfasts w/ coffee, juice, and homemade jams. Our room also had a kettle w/ tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milk, water bottles, biscuits and a fridge.
The room is very comfortable and accomodating, having clearly been renovated while keeping its classic charm (smart TV, plenty of outlets incl. USB chargin ports, etc). I really appreciated the nice, large shower at the end of a couple long days.
We'd love to stay again and expect to do so. I doubt there is a more relaxing, tidy, tasty, comfortable, convenient and afforable place to stay in the area. The personal touch from our hosts just made everything a little bit better."
