"Breakfast was cooked to order and excellent. Our room overlooked the prom and the west Somerset rail steam line station, which was very nice. Staff were friendly and helpful.

"Great location minutes away from cafés, pubs and eateries. Funicular virtually next door. Lovely old hotel, clean and full of character though indeed of a little tlc. We were made very welcome and our rooms were upgraded at no extra cost with amazing views across the valley. Very dog friendly and would definitely stay there again. Thank you. "
