"My husband and I recently stayed at the Ambleside Salutation Hotel in the Lake District, and I genuinely cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect – the kind of stay that leaves you wanting to come back even before you've checked out! The Location: Absolutely unbeatable. Nestled right in the heart of Ambleside, the hotel is surrounded by stunning natural beauty. Our room overlooked a gorgeous waterfall, and waking up to the soothing sound of flowing water and a view of the hills was pure magic. It felt like a peaceful, luxurious escape wrapped in nature. The Room: Wow – our room was massive! Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and designed for real comfort. It had everything we needed and more. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the little touches made a big difference. Honestly one of the best hotel rooms we’ve stayed in. The Staff: Every single member of staff we encountered was warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. From check-in to check-out, we were made to feel at home and very well looked after. It’s clear they truly care about their guests. The Breakfast: Delicious! A fantastic spread with something for everyone – fresh, hot, and generous. "Hotel was very clean generally and room was also very clean. Staff were helpful and polite. Pool and jaccuzi is nice addition. Location is right in the middle of the city centre with loads of Restaurants nearby.."

"Our third stay in this hotel. Staff lovely and helpful and food excellent although really don’t like buffet style breakfast. Bedroom would benefit from an update- carpet I’ll fitting, no full length mirror. Bed comfortable. Bathroom lovely and shower worked well. Choice to decide if you want your room serviced or not."
