"We booked this stay as we planned to do some touring in the highlands. We are so grateful we did. Nairn is a wonderful small town with great people, without the bustle of Inverness. Our hosts were incredible and the property was truly 5 stars! The à la carte breakfast in the morning was a surprise and was delicious. An awesome start to the day! Room was massive and well appointed. Plenty of parking and close to several points of interest. Would absolutely return to see more of what Nairn has to offer."

"Returned to the Invernaire after a 42 year absence. Plenty remained the same as I remember it in nothing but a good way and also several updates like the en suite washroom especially. Last time it was one shower for the entire upper floor. The view from my cozy little room- Ben Wy was spectacular as was the one from the dining room. Carol was especially helpful from the time I checked in until I left. Breakfast were A-1. Best tea I’ve ever tried and was reunited with black pudding. Miss that taste!!! I fantastic 4 days. I’ll be back again and won’t wait as long. I recommend the Invernairne to anyone who visits the beautiful little town of Nairn!!"

It reminded me of the kind of old properties Youth Hostels often occupy. Comfy bed, nice white sheets. This was the cheapest in the area so I dont think the bad reviews are fair. Pay more and stay somewhere else. Normally I MUST have a TV in my room but I really didnt mind that there wasnt one. Look into the history of the building to understand the reasons why it had anvair of Fawlty towts meets the Shining. Phone in advance to advise an eta so when you do arrive (90 minutes later than you thi"

"Good hotel with lovely, helpful & friendly staff. Got chatting to various people in the bar area, which was relaxed with a nice atmosphere. Bar staff were very helpful & chatted with ease. Room was spacious and clean as was the bathroom, but the shower was very weak indeed, but the water was warm enough. The room/bathroom/decor are what you would expect of such a hotel in the area. Make-over would be welcome, but in thee difficult times, fully understand if it isn't priority. Would recommend."

It was a fair price to reach Findhorn and Forres for the festival. When the noise issue was mysteriously fixed it was a comfortable stay."
