Nicole, Patty and the staff were wonderful. Just getting to town we were in a bad way with the altitude and their kindness helped get us back in good spirits again. We had a wonderful stay and hope to catch the yoga class next time around

We stayed in a private room which was spacious and a good sized bathroom. The drain did smell (which we alerted management about) and putting the floor mat over the drain did the trick. Location was excellent and the kitchen and common area were great, plus a tasty onsite cafe and bar. This was a great base during our time in Cusco.

The hostel is incredibly loud by far the loudest I have experienced in all my travels. So if your planning to go to Machu Picchu or have any early morning excursions I highly recommend to book elsewhere because you will not be able to sleep! This hostel is incredibly loud until all hours of the night. From door slamming to people dragging their luggage up and down the tile stairs to music playing late nights. It’s really a place for hipsters who are more looking to socialize and meet new people. So if that’s your vibe go for it. But I was there for the excursions for Machu Picchu and a lot of tours require us to wake up early so please consider. Also they don’t offer any healthy gluten free options. There included breakfast only includes 4 meal selections. It’s not like a breakfast buffet. It’s pancakes or fruit and granola or eggs and bread or an avocado toast. Just a heads up these were things I wish I knew before booking.

My stay in sticky budget
At the beginning wasn’t that happy I have to upgrade but is a nice location. Super clean staff is okay.

The Tents are like camping. There is a shared bathroom. Very clean. Tents are good if you like camping. Very clean room

This property had a lot of beautiful spaces for working, eating or simply hanging out. The staff was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The location is very central and convenient, with many cafes and restaurants just a short walk away.

The staff was wonderful. Check-in time was at 11 am, which makes it very convenient for those who arrive on an early flight. Breakfast items were limited but it's not bad. The location is walkable and it's pretty close to the main square and restaurants. The room that we were in faced the street, so you can definitely hear the cars honking at night. It didn't bother us much since we were very tired. This is a simple, basic, and clean hotel. We stay again.

I loved how intimate and friendly the staff was with my friend and I! Patty, the waitress/hostess extraordinaire, was incredibly wonderful and welcoming. Made us feel very safe, especially during our first time to South America!

This place is awesome. Yes, it's loud. Really freakin' loud. It didn't bother me, ear plugs for sleeping work. I actually am going home with a ton of great new music from what was played at Salina. I had a private room with bath. It was modest, clean and perfect for just me. The staff is incredible. Helpful, warm, friendly. The breakfasts were amazing. The location is the best you can get. My friends stayed elsewhere and ended up hanging out at Salina with me. If I come back to Cusco, I'll stay here again. Seriously loved it. If you're looking for the Ritz, keep looking. If you want a reasonably priced place with the best location in Cusco, wonderful atmosphere, food and staff...book Salina Plaza de Armas. Just pack some ear plugs.

Amazing facilities, lots of classes and social activities going on, plus a welcome drink on your first night. We had an issue with the lock on our room, but this wasn’t really resolved by the staff, so we spent our stay struggling to open and close our room.

The hotel was clean and the area close to restaurants and plazas. We stayed there 3 nights and the first one we were given a room with tv. The remaining nights we were given a room with no tv. The person in charge said that was their “theme” no tv in most rooms. If I would of know this I would of stayed in a different place. The room was definitely overpriced for a place like this.

Great Vibe and Location!
Very centrally located and offers all the services you may need such as laundry and business centers. Also has a ton of events such as yoga, local artist, wine and cheese nights to socialize with other guests. Our private room was spacious and comfortable.

Selina is great I really liked it. Great Location. A bit noisy is all. It was so nice I didn't realize that it was actually a hostel. We had a private room. It's like an upscale hostel. Seems like it'd be great for people travelling and working remotely

Our stay overall was fine but be careful what you’re booking! When we arrived, we were told we booked a teepee rather than a double bed in a room! Luckily we were able to pay to upgrade but it wasn’t clearly labeled as a teepee online.

LOOK ELSEWHERE! The property has a nice vibe to it (a lot of young people backpacking thru Peru) and the food in the restaurant is good/convenient (albeit a bit $$ for what it is). The rooms are basic and mostly clean if you get a room with a hardwood floor (my friends had hardwood floor - nice&clean, our room had a pretty dirty carpet). There was hot water all the time. Now for the BAD, there is NO noise insulation in the rooms whatsoever! There are a number of rooms that face the inner courtyard with live music until 10 pm, which is fine BUT their kitchen and janitorial service start at 4 am and you will hear every single noise and people talking. No way to get any rest overnight if you need some. My family was lucky and our room was fine. My friends on the other hand had to checkout after a single night as their room was unusable and super noisy. More disappointing was that the management was completely uncooperative. They did not negate the issue with the room but refused to even discuss a partial refund (my friends used 1 out of 7 booked nights). I then contacted Expedia a number of times and spent hours with their representatives on the phone ($$), who were nice but could not get in touch with the hotel since they did not have accurate information about the property or their manager. The hotel gave me a run around about the manager's contact info / office hours, who was impossible to reach for days, which I believe was on purpose. Beware! No recourse if any problem!

All the staff at the property were incredibly nice and helpful. I stayed in a teepee, which was clean and comfortable. I had dinner and breakfast at Selina Plaza De Armas - both were delicious.

So glad we stayed here!
We moved to this hotel after being pretty unhappy with our original Airbnb. We are so glad that we moved! The Selina was comfortable, cute, and the service was great. Plus, the location was perfect. We were even lucky to have dinner in the restaurant during a wonderful concert.
