This hotel was absolutely amazing! The location was perfect. They have the most beautiful view of the city in the restaurant terrace. The rooms are very spacious, clean and with beautiful views. The staff is first class! They go above and beyond to make sure your stay at the Wyndham is absolutely perfect! They personalize your experience and ensure you’re enjoying every moment at their facility. They make you feel like family! Highly Recommended.
This property was on a side street up a hill from the main area of Cusco and was quiet and secluded. We had an amazing view of the entire city. The room was exceptionally nice. The entire staff was professional, friendly and very accomodating
The staff Was very helpful. The hotel was clean, and our room had a great view.
The new chief and head waiter produced a wonderful dinner for my wife and I. Starting with a complementary Golden Berry Pisco the food was artistically presented and so very tasty. They were very engaging and gracious.
If you want a reasonably priced room with view above the city though not close to downtown this is a good choice

The lobby was nice and I liked that we were escorted to our room. However
My daughter got sick with altitude , asked for bottled water and they didnt have any. Cable didn't work. Breakfast was terrible, not enough staff.
I would not recommend this hotel at all!
Not our American standard, eventhough is an American brand.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. They were very few in number but were available to attend to your needs.
However, basic necessities and amenities not available:
1. No iron to press clothes in the room .. which is a basic thing especially for a hotel chain like Wyndham
2. No coffee in the room ... available only during breakfast , which was good.
3. Wireless barely worked
4. Cable tv never worked and I mean never worked
5. It felt like a ghost town. Barely any lights were on, only ones near your room. Rest all were closed ... so it literally was like a ghost town
6. Restaurant always closed for lunch and dinner, never open even once during my stay. So after a long hiking trip if you need to just relax at room, it was impossible: wifi , cable tv and restaurant not working .. huh
Overall, very disappointed with the hotel
- no tenían la habitación con dos camas
- la puerta no cerraba con seguro mis pertenencias estuvieron expuestas todo el tiempo
- mi habitación no tenía calefacción
It’s old and out of the way. Being here would be inconvenient if you were visiting Cusco for a few days. We were just there for the night in transit back to Lima so it was fine. The hot water wasn’t working in the morning. We missed our wake up call as well.... I would say it is just ok. For the price it is decent. But you’d be better to spend a little more to be closer to the square so you can walk and do things easily.
Part of the problem was that we stayed at the Plaza del Inca at the beginning of our stay and there is simply no comparison.
Location is quite far from the center of the town and they charged U$7 for tax which was not an expected cost.
Check-In took 20minutes because they couldn't check my booking in their system though it was finally sovled out.
Staffs were kind and room was ok, but the hotel was very old.
I thought the room rate was cheap when I booked it, but I think it is not after staying in it.
Alan was great on Rri arrival, but service of others and facilities got worse as the days went on.
Internet unavailable from room and marhinal in reception areas, breakfast tables were never cleared and if you wanted a good table you needed to clear the table yourself.
Staff approached or looked for a number of times and never proactive (again with the exception oc Alan)
The property was good the first night we checked in but when we came back and checked in again the room was atrocious! No help from the manager at all, he wouldn’t even come see us. This is not the way a Wyndham should ever operate. Absolutely horrible. The room had numerous carpet stains, cracked walls, filthy curtains that were releasing dust and debris, and when the upstairs room flushed their toilet we could smell it coming up through our sink. Room 527 is abominable.
The staff went above, and beyond my expectations. Anytime we needed assistance they solved the problems instantly. The only issue is that it’s a bit further from the plaza Darmes, so you must Uber or taxi. As well, there is a lot of noise come 3am. I’m not sure if it’s because we’re right below the restaurant or if it’s the neighbouring room, so if you’re a light sleeper like me, bring earplugs.
The front staff was very friendly and helpful. They provided coca tea as soon as we checked in, which helped with the altitude sickness. The hotel has a great view of Cusco and was very clean!
Rooms were new and well laid out , staff very friendly , good location , safe. Water was purified and drinkable.
No gymnasium and room safe very modern but strangely not anchored to the wall
