Furama rooms and areas looked old and worned but clean. Staff are very friendly. Kids club staff are very nice too. Took the garden facing rooms and it was super noisy starting at 5.30am with the birds chripping etc. No food stall / eatery within walking distance. Just one restaurant in hotel therefore limited food options. We did grab a few times but due to the delivery guys are not allowed to come in, you need to run out to the security post to meet them which is a hassle if you stay right in.

Hotel is in a gorgeous location, with wonderful scenery both in and around the resort. Unfortunately, this did lead to the majority of guests spending more time getting insta friendly photos than using the actual facilities. Staff were very attentive and always on hand to help. Spa facilities were excellent and of a reasonable price. One major downside would be that the hotel markets itself as a culinary resort. This really is a stretch with one sub-par Italian restaurant and a pretty middle of the line Asian restaurant next door. Getting a drink after 11pm outside of high season also appears to be difficult, so would suggest stocking up on some drink from a local shop, if that way inclined, as the mini bar is also lacking. Also, Expedia states there is a swim up bar... there is not.

Furama was an awesome resort and would recommend. Pools were so good and the gym was really clean.There were a few issues with our room (such as bath tub didn't work and toilet on the last day broke) however staff were very helpful and straight onto it and did not give us any trouble so I would say that's a very good benefit as we did not stress out about it. They were sincerely apologetic and that's a good trait to have.
