Having all facilities in one place. The check in time isn't favorable especially when you only have access to early flights. Improve on making sure everything is available in the room. Its absurd that one has to wait till noon to check-in, then when you get to, you have to follow up to get toiletries and still remind them eveyday to avail what was depleted.

Yes its true the checkin time is 1400hrs and we do have flexibility to early checkin, however as hotel was completely full the other night it was not possible to give rooms before 12noon.We apologies again for the inconvenience you went through

Convenient location, decent AC and breakfast. Friendly staff. - Cockroach in the room on two separate occasions. - Very noise outside the room from housekeeping not considering guests. Though they always said hello and smiled. - Noisy. I needed to call down on two occasions as loud people were on the floor close to midnight. No change. - The telephone in the room didn't work. - The sofas in the restaurant smelled very badly of pee. - Someone came into my room even when the do not disturb sign was on to take iron. - Cleaning staff binned two A4 pages of meeting notes that I had kept on the desk in my room during housekeeping. - Run down

This is my favorite hotel to stay in Dar. It is updated, has amazingly powerful, hot showers, great breakfast and a kind staff. Guests of the hotel can use the gym for free which offers incredible facilities and has a steam room and sauna.

Loved the unique restaurant, a blend of Asian and Western complete with Cherry Blossom! Food was perfect. The hotel decor and fittings have a Mediterranean feel to them.

My new go-to hotel in Dar
The gym alone is reason to stay here. The room was nice but could use a comfy couch or love seat. The breakfast was complete as they addressed some of the bad reviews about it. I’ve actually canceled my reservation at my usual hotel and will stay here on my future trips to Dar.

I liked everything. It is a great place to stay and to eat. The staff are friendly and hard-working. My only beef is that several items on the menu are almost never there and you are asked to accept alternatives. This never happened in the past but is becoming an increasingly frequent occurrence.

Excellent Choice!
Overall this is my new favorite hotel in Dar es Salaam! Large, clean, comfortable rooms, good WiFi even in the rooms,which isn’t always the case, very good food with a lot of creative western style options, welcome cocktails at the bar, and friendly service. Espresso maker with free caffe latte at breakfast was a bonus. The pool and gym are both large, but are in the adjoining fitness club building so the hours are restricted. My The one thing I found disappointing was that the pool water is very warm (so not that refreshing) and not the cleanest. The hotel is in a lovely, safe neighborhood outside of downtown Dar.

Gym in the hotel is incredible. It’s a full service gym open to the public as well. Spa service was excellent. Breakfast is not great. Rooms are fine but there was a lot of construction noise all day long.

Staff were amazing, the service was good and the area was very nice. Most facilities eg cash machine, restaurants and bars were within walking distance. Would certainly stay again!

Pros: Cheap, clean rooms, excellent room service Cons: The spa and gym close early, and room service is not available late at night. So not the best hotel for you to check in in the evening.

I stayed at the Colesseum on a business trip. The service was great, the staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating. The hotel has everything you need, good wifi, a good restaurant and a great gym and pool which are free to use by residents. I would definitely stay here again.
