Our Stay
This is the 2nd time my wife and I have stayed, on the whole a nice hotel. The only down sides are the following: No tea towels for drying dishes, also the curtains can not be drawn fully to have privacy as gaps at the end gives views from outside especially bedroom. The last thing is about meals, the meals were ordered for 7:30 am, didn't arrive till 7:50 am and small meals.

I booked this accommodation for a 10 day stay in Davao City, Philippines. Shortly after paying the full amount, I received several messages from the property saying there was a mistake made by Hotels.com and I would not receive the amenities as advertised unless i paid 800 php (14.00 usd) more per day! I contacted Hotels.com who promised that they would take care of it yet the messages still kept coming. This was an added stress to the preparation for my first overseas trip and as the end result I had to accept a location that was NOT what I wanted with the amenities I was not pleased with. I actually had to change rooms because of roaches. As I was planning to "pop the question" to my girlfriend, this location I was herded to made the ambiance of the anticipated occasion less than desirable, All in all, the owner seemed to be greedy and non complaint with the rules of the Hotels.com website and in my opinion should be banned from using this site altogether. In retrospect, it seems to be a "bait and switch" scenario that the qualified and dedicated customers of Hotels.com should never be put through. Although I received a 75.00 coupon to use on my next booking it does not make up for the inconvenience and stress incurred as a result of this property owners incessant demands. Steer clear from this place unless you enjoy being let down after you have paid your money for services and accommodations that they have no intention of providing at their advertised rate.

Services Needs to be Strict
I always enjoyed staying at D Leonor. However, I may need to mention things like - the shower is not firm as it always slips and catching it while bathing. Awful that it makes all the bathroom wet, instead of keeping some area dry. Secondly there was no Clean-up Drive for no one even called or ask us to clean the room for, that the plates and dishes were stucked in the kitchen that I need to clean them up to avoid the smell of rotten foods. Same as no refilling our water, changing the towels, new soap, etc. Cable is not stable that you suddenly lose the watching the TV etc. Room is cold. Hot Shower is working, Toilet is clean, room is clean and big enough to have your own sofa and dining area. Still enjoyed my stay, yet wish the admin could see this service flaws.

Comfortable Stay
Our stay was amazing and comfortable. Joan the receptionist is accommodating, I just hope that all other receptionists are always smiling too and give this same friendly aura that Joan does. At times, I can't help but feel that some of the staff or locals around are aloof to talk to us once they found out that we are from Manila and cannot speak or understand their native dialect. Overall though, we are contented with our stay not just in D' Leonor but in Davao City.

If you like a lot of space.
The good, staff were friendly and the room(s) was clean. This was huge, like living in a condo. If I remember correctly, a room was available before 2pm which is always appreciated but never relied on. There was no lift but staff were available to carry bags to the room, so this was no big deal but for elderly it is noteworthy. There were no windows but again, I did not feel like I was missing something. I would have stayed longer but the price for extending was prohibitive.

Perfect location but very noisy
The staff were very nice and all our extra requests were provided immediately. The room is relatively clean though quite old. Our room has a street view and we always hear the noise of the traffic outside, which was not so nice cos we have a baby. We didn't had a good sleep there. But the location is 100% perfect. It's near to everything which is quite cool cos sometimes we get hungry in the middle of the night and right across the street is Jollibee and Maria's Pizza, which was very delicious! I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you travel with smaller children cos it's just too noisy. All in all I would give it a 3.

I think a traveler could do better and expect more
the building stood out as inadequate for a good hotel experience. No elevator and our room was on the fourth floor, a leaking bathroom sink created a continual pool of water, the master bathroom shower had a broken wall-hung water heater so we had to move to the second bathroom shower, the sliding glass door had no lock leaving the room vulnerable to a break-in. Breakfast was included but only half the menu was available. However the staff was very friendly and helpful and the bed comfortable. The room was well decorated and lit. I wouldn’t go back or recommend a stay but it served the purposes for a night stay.

D'Leonor our home away from home
D'Leonor has become our home away from home it seems. We visit there every other week. The location works out great for us. We have access to 3 malls that are very close and SM Lanang is a short Jeepney ride away. The food courts at the malls or so many fast food options just outside the hotel. If you are an expat try to also shop where the locals do = Victoria Plaza and G Mall. You will experience more options of good local food, the prices are lower and you will truly find things not at the more expensive malls = SM Lanang and Abreeza. The hotel staff treats us great, we feel safe and sound. I love the rooms with the outside balcony's. You have a choice of American and Filipino style breakfast. All in all the hotel is a good value for the Piso. You can pay more at other local hotels but I don't get some of the things I find very important like a nice size refrigerator and a microwave. TV channels are very good. The beds are comfortable. The WiFi could be better at times. Looking forward to our next stay!

Overall a good experience
I stayed in the Presidential suite, which has 2 bedrooms, as spacious, and well kept. However the master bedroom is right next to the hallway and you can hear every conversation as people go by ( which assumes they can here me as well). On one night there was some party and it was hard to sleep. But the next night was quiet. There was no problem in the second bedroom. Also, if you want to use the kitchen you have to ask for the basics like dishes and pans. There does not seem to be any organized "kitchen package" or a check list. You have to ask for every thing you want. Dishes? You don't get any bowls with out asking. No cutting board was delivered and I got tired of having to request every little thing. No skillet available only a wok. I asked for service for 3 and was given exactly 3 plates, no serving plates or mixing bowls or other stuff.

A good price and great location for the expats.
Such a great location. The hotel just gets better and better. We have stayed here several times and I enjoyed this stay the best. This was the first time we had a room with a balcony and we both loved it. Now with the balcony room comes some street noise at night but it did not bother me at all. In fact I love the sounds of the city. I asked for a microwave for the room and it was provided. I want a refrigerator when we travel and all rooms have a big one. The cable selection is good. The wifi is a little slow but that is pretty much the norm in the Philippines. All in all a great time and looking forward to my next stay.

Good value and close to the Immigration office
We have stayed at this Hotel several times. For the price and the location it really is a good value. On the plus side = If you are going to the Philippines Immigration office, it is only about a block away. This hotel is within walking distance to Abreeza mall and in between the S & R store and mall with the IMAX movie theater. The negatives are sometimes very poor internet and breakfast is always cold. When you check in just verify with your porter these 3 things, TV is ready to go, Hot Water in at least one of the bathrooms is warm and the AC is ready to go and you will have a nice stay. I do recommend and will stay again.

We were definitely looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay for my best friend's wedding, and we got exactly what we needed. We stayed in their Junior Suite which provides the complete basic amenities. Truly, one of the best place to stay for travelers and working people.

Good unit with a kitchen
The room smells clean. Spacious. You must request kitchen stuff if you want to cook. They have a decent complimentary breakfast but foreigners beware the "orange juice" is just Tang made with tap water. A few concerns about security as the room I was in had the window boarded up, so hopefully you never need to escape that way in a fire. Also, I had a friend of mine stop by unexpectedly and he was able to get my room number from the front desk - a strict security "no no". the location is great with many places to eat close by, and right next to Victoria Plaza and a P50 taxi ride to Abreeza. Good TV selection. Wifi is so so. My hot spot was faster.

Suite with 2 queen beds
The suite with 2 queen beds was spacious and clean although dated and needs refurbishing, wifi was strong. The other suite with 2 twin beds was also spacious but dingy and dull, both rooms had no windows. They both served the purpose of housing 6 adults, convenient location, friendly and efficient staff. My towel had a big hole.

Nice hotel close to Philippines Immigration Office
I have stayed here 3 times and will stay again. Just do the following upon arrival. When you are first taken to your room, have the following checked out. 1 - Have them turn on the AC units and show you how to operate them. 2 Have them turn on the hot water units in the showers and make sure there is hot water. 3 - Have the TV turned on and have them show you how to operate it. Do these simple things and enjoy your stay

My first night I got a room with street view which was very noisy due to this was a main street with very much traffic and the windows had very little or no sound proofing. Luckily the staff was very helpful and provided me with a room without street view. Wifi connection was OK. Signal strength could have been better, but I didn't have any connection issues. I stayed 7 nights and at first I only received access for 100 hrs. After that I had to renew the access (get new password) every 24 hrs. Overall I was very satisfied with my stay at D'Leonor.

Good and close to immigration office
This hotel is a good choice for needing or wanting to be close to the Davao Immigration office. The price is fair. The room is big within walking distance of Abreeza Mall and across the street from Victoria Plaza Mall.

部屋はとても大きくシャワールーやトイレも2箇所ありタンスなどもあり整理しやすくファミリーにはとてもいいと思います。ただ太陽が当たらないので時間の進行が分かりづらいです。朝食の食材が毎日ないものが多すぎるのがとても残念です。
