Downtown Dayton is not particularly vibrant on a summer weekend or weekday but the hotel is very alive and welcoming. Front desk and valet service was solid. Had a very good light dinner and a very good breakfast. Room was super quiet with no discernible hallway noise and bed very comfortable.

It a good, clean, hotel with exceptionally helpful staff. It's well managed. I would absolutely stay there again. It's kind of a no frills hotel as Amenities are limited by the physical property site. Its in a good location for the convention center, lots of food options, valet parking is also very well run.

Comfortable bed, great location. Be prepared to pay for parking. The room comes supplied with ear plugs, which were very useful. The AC, when it kicked on, was quite noisy. This may only have been an issue in our room—not sure. Downtown Dayton is very walkable! Great restaurants nearby. We didn’t try the restaurant in the hotel itself…

The house cleaners were the best part of our stay - super friendly and approachable. The hotel and restaurant staff seemed annoyed by our existence. Late to acknowledge our arrival, I thought I’d walked in the wrong entrance because no one would acknowledge us for so long. Breakfast waitstaff was slow to arrive and then snappy/gloomy about serving us, seemed annoyed that our arrival and requests interrupted her conversations. Missing door handle in bathroom, very leaky shower head.

The best part of our stay was the valet. James and the entire valet staff were excellent. That is where excellence ends . The front desk was worthless. I stayed in a suite and asked for maid service after 2 days and never received any maid service. We ran out of coffee and asked the front desk for more and were told they didn’t have any. We couldn’t get anyone in the restaurant to get us coffee. Plus, on the TVs in the rooms it gave a welcome message but only in my husband’s name. Not mine, not Mr and Mrs. This offended me considerably because I made the reservation and it was paid by my credit card. I will not return nor can I recommend anyone stay there. Online it noted that this is a 4 star hotel. In our opinion it was a 2 at best.

Beautiful property and rooms. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Great place to bring in the New Year and Bistecca Resturant was the cherry on top. Great drinks, great food and we didn’t even have to leave the property.
