"Our room was literally dirty, within one hour of checking in we were asking for a refund to move. They refused but offered us a different room. It was cleaner, but still not the greatest, at least it smelled cleaned and the blankets/sheets had fold creases as if they had been recently changed. Both rooms were missing the pullout couch as stated. Baffled as to why they charge a $100 cleaning deposit upon arrival for a room that wasn’t cleaned in the first place lol we decided to eat the cost and stay at the hotel right next door and had a much better experience. "

"Everyone working at Vallet was friendly and welcoming. Pool run out towels regularly. Breakfast wasnt bad. Would have been nice to have more tables available. Front desk staff were not as friendly as vallet. Rooms were clean. Very family friendly. "

"This is the second time in a year that the hotel has been in ‘renovation’ — to move me away from the sounds of workers I was given a room by a fast food restaurant that has a diesel truck deliver product at 1 am. I asked specifically for poly pillows in my room since I’m allergic to feathers and yep— there were feather pillows on the bed. These may be little’ things, but why ask if there are needs in advance that aren’t followed? And why place me directly next to a noisier area? I find it hard to believe that the workers and front desk doesn’t know which rooms are quietest. Very disappointing! "

"The WiFi was weak and we were located right by the office. The hotel is located on a busy street and so there was a lot of noise from traffic and screaming homeless people during the night. Overall, though it was a nice hotel for the price."

"It was clean, we had a good stay and the front desk in the am is really nice, though the audit is in opposite. I requested a extra pillow and he said housekeeping left we have to go down, we did but he gave us 1 pillow that was used and has a blood. Though he gave us 1pilow case for us to change. Not fair to give a low score just because of the auditor being lazy and not happy."

"Nice hotel overall, but the service did not match the experience. The staff came across as unfriendly unless concerns were raised directly, otherwise, issues seemed to go unaddressed. At the bar, Mitch appeared to be having a difficult day, handling items roughly and creating an uncomfortable atmosphere for guests at the bar. When this was brought to a manager’s attention, the response was dismissive, and there was no follow-up to ensure the situation improved. Hospitality should prioritize guest experience and professionalism, and unfortunately, that was lacking during this visit."
