"We loved our stay at the Canal Cottages. Our cottage was a detached studio room with its own private bathroom. The cottages do sit behind the main establishment. You can get an uber or bolt from this location if you would like to go explore the area around you or need to head back to the airport like we did. We took an uber to Windsor Castle from the cottages and it was about 25 minutes away from the cottages. Public transportation available but it is about a 15 minute to 20 minute walk from the cottages. After exploring Windsor we came back to the cottage to eat at their onsite restaurant. You can dine in or eat on the patio looking over the canals. Our meal was very good. If you like to walk there are some roads or canal paths to explore around the establishment. The cottages do offer free WiFi and live entertainment at the restaurant depending on the day of the week you are there. We enjoyed our food and stay at the cottages and if we were in the area again, we would stay here. "
