It’s a very traditional place in terms of decor but everything was immaculate and well looked after - our room was really spacious and even had an exercise bike which we weren’t expecting! The staff were all lovely and super helpful. "

"We had a wonderful time at this hotel! The room was exceptional and the breakfast was fantastic! The location is perfect! There were just a couple of smaller problems such as empty shampoo bottle in shower and very small beds. Also, the staff is efficient and helpful but not friendly or welcoming. "

"Great price, easy access to building and room with single code. Excellent layout with many places to store belongings, we could even place out suitcase and folded pushchair under the floor at the end of the bed leaving all the floor space. Housekeeping was said to do a clean on the fourth day but this did not happen. Not central but easy tram 3 minutes walk away which takes you into the old town. (And free public transport with the included Basel card. "
