"Had a Marvellous time - The staff make you so welcome and everything is catered for excellently- from breakfast to assisting with dinner reservations, places to see, the owner even went to get a razor and shaving cream from the local shop as I had forgotten mine, Champagne for our anniversary - I can not recommend this place enough it’s a place of tranquility and splendour."

The location provides easy access to the area and a walkable distance to town. The owners are the best. Suffice it to say, if you need a breakaway from the hustle and bustle of the city, you cannot go wrong! It is amazing value and from the warm welcome from the owners, Venishree and Juergen to the beautiful accommodations, plush beddings, thoughtful amenities and superb service, we were so impressed after our initial 6 night stay that we booked another weekend immediately and I cannot wait to go...

"We had a wonderful stay at the Sunset Cottage. The home was quaint, romantic, and had a great view. The restaurant was great (we ate breakfast there). Close walk to town. Everything was perfect! "

Lynn and Mick were very kind hosts inviting us for Happy Hour drinks after a well needed swim in the pool on a very hot day. It was a very short walk into town and very quiet, safe and restful."

"Recently returned from a 3 night stay at these apartments and we had a great stay in apartment 6. It was modern, clean and bang in the centre of Franschhoek town. The check in was the quickest ever and room was ready for us despite arriving early. The facilities were great and bed comfy - didn’t want to leave the place and wouldn’t hesitate to book when visiting again 😀 "

"We absolutely loved our stay. The views are beautiful and the tents are very comfortable for a family of 5. There is a lot of outdoor space for the kids to run around. We plan on returning if we travel back to South Africa. "

"Walking distance to the wine tram. Lovely porch to have your morning coffee or afternoon drinks. Very well equipped, had everything i needed. I wish places in the cape would have a top sheet, as i like something on me, but they all just have a duvet, and its just too hot."

"The facilities at this property were very minimal for what is offered as a furnished holiday let. A salt and pepper set would have been nice. We had flat 2 which is not air conditioned but an air-conditioning unit outside our suite was noisy and disturbing."
