"I stayed here one night after a late night arrival at SJO. I enjoyed my stay, and would stay again. The rooms were a bit dated, but seemed reasonably clean. I was a little bit nervous about how securely the door locked, as there was a small gap between the door and doorframe, and the security lock/deadbolt seemed kinda loose. I really enjoyed the breakfast, which was protein-rich and helped me to feel well-nourished for my day. Breakfast runs from 6am to 10am. I also loved spending time in the pool and catching some sun on the pool deck. The saunas were turned off, and took a while to heat up, so plan ahead if you want to use them! The shuttle picks up from the airport once every hour, on the :45. They bring people to the airport on :15. I believe the shuttle runs till 11 pm. I’m not sure what time they start in the morning. There are no elevators, but a staff member helped me carry my bags to my room on the 3rd floor (which had a beautiful view of the pool and nature area). Have some small change on you if you would like to leave a tip- I’m glad I had a little bit on hand. Great value for money, and staff were friendly and helpful! "

"Property was nice, staff ok. Fairly quiet. Location is super close to the airport which was convenient. Rooms seemed small but acceptable. Bed was very uncomfortable and not good if you have spine or body issues. "

"Didn’t use the pool. Breakfast was great. The hotel was overbooked and one of our rooms was cancelled last minute. After some pleas on our part the hotel gave us rollaway beds to put in two other rooms we had and free breakfast. "

"Very clean and well appointed hotel. We loved the salt water pool and outdoor air hockey games. Free 24 hour coffee was a plus too! Probably the most convenient aspect was the 4am shuttle to the airport. Other hotels in the area don’t start their shuttles until 5:15 am. "
